Do you have a blog? Are you a blogger? If you are not then you may want to rethink starting one. Those in the know, know that a blog is a fusion of the words Web and Log, hence blog. It is an online diary of sorts and allows the user to post anytime he or she chooses too. Once posts are made people can check out their site to see what is new.

The nice part of this is that many bloggers are now making money by just posting to their blog. There is money to be made by blogging and it is the easiest way to make money being online. If you will already be on, you might as well make some money. There are a few different ways that you can monetize your blog. One of the most popular is using ad sense. If you use Blogger which is owned by Google, then you are in luck as it is already built in to the templates. If you have even seen those little ads posted that say sponsored by Google, then you have seen ad sense in action.

Adsense allows the user to make money being online by placing ads on their page that are related to the subject/topic/theme of the blog. Once someone clicks on one of these ads the user gets a commission ranging from a few cents to a few dollars. Not bad huh? Thought it was impossible to make money being online? Think again.

Many bloggers are making a very nice income, and for some a full time income just by logging in and making posts on a daily basis. The key to this is having an interesting blog that you update fairly regularly, this is what will keep people coming back to visit. More traffic equals more commissions.

There are also ways to work this process backwards. If you are an expert in a niche that pays well with adsense ads, you could start a blog in that niche and start making some decent money. You too could one day become the next full time blogger. Impossible to make money being online? Not really.
